In response to the PGM SR letter number BSNL/7-3/SR/2015 (1&2) dated 14.12.2015 and the positive gesture shown by CMD BSNL and Director (HR) in the meeting held with the representatives of United Forum of BSNL Executives' Association comprising of AIGETOA and AIBSNLEA for the settlement of the demands on long pending HR issues submitted by United Forum, United Forum expresses its confidence on the firm & time bound assurances given by the Head of the Organization and decides to defer the ongoing action programmes for a period of two months. Lunch hour demonstration 4the December 2015 throughout the country reported grand success. Executives have participated irrespective of their affiliation with associations. AIGETOA extends profound gratitude and congratulation to one and all for participating in this struggle. Detail along with glimpse has already been uploaded.

United Forum further decides to hold demonstration during lunch/closing hours on 11th December, 2015 (Friday) at all SSA/Circles/BSNL CO in continuation to the earlier notified agitation programs. All the CHQ/Circle/Branch office bearers are requested to ensure successful holding of the agitation programs.

CHQ Update : UNITED FORUM OF AIBSNLEA AND AIGETOA SERVES NOTICE FOR AGITATION PROGRAMS

United Forum of AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA serves notice for Agitation Programs :

United forum of BSNL Executive Association comprising AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA serves notice to resume organizational action programs which was deferred on 7th July 2015. The agitation notice has been served against the arbitrary notification of MT (SRD) recruitment and non-settlement of long pending HR issues even after the assurances given repeatedly in the formal/informal meetings. BSNL management with an indifferent attitude has notified MT (SRD) recruitment to block the career progression of the young and talented executives of BSNL. Click here for notice

The demands are as under:

1. Immediate withdrawal of the MT recruitment notification (SRD) dated 05.11.2015, scrapping of the MT, DGM RRs altogether and implementation of the recommendation of the committee headed by ED(NB) on CPSU Cadre Hierarchy in BSNL and standard E2 & E3 scales for JTO, SDE Equivalent executives.

2. Resolution of various other long pending HR issues like extending 30% Superannuation Benefits to Direct recruits, Rule-8 transfer cases, Pay loss to JTOs/JAOs recruited after 01.01.2007 and fixation of pay in respect of departmental outsider (TTA) appointed as JTOs, conduction of various CPCs in a time bound manner, first time bound upgradation in four years, declaration of LDCE results, notional pay fixation of all upgraded pay-scales w.e.f. 01.10.2000, post based promotions to PS to PPS/Sr. PPS, settlement of Pay Anomaly cases where junior executives are drawing more pay than senior executives, special recruitment drive for hard tenure/shortfall circles, restructuring of AD (OL) cadres, finalization of new SDE RR 2014 in line with association suggestions and other long pending HR issues submitted earlier.

Protest activity and schedule:

• “Lunch/Closing Hour Demonstrations” at BSNL CO/Circle/SSA headquarters on 4th Dec 2015.

• Three days “Hunger Fast” at BSNL CO/Circle/SSA headquarters on 28th , 29th and 30th December 2015.

• “Work According to Rules” with effect from 28th December 2015 till the settlement of demands.

• 5th January 2016 onwards – “Delhi Chalo” for Indefinite Dharna at BSNL CO. The executives throughout the country will gather at BSNL CO, New Delhi till withdrawal of the MT Notification and settlement of various HR issues. During this period, there will be complete non-cooperation with management.

All the CHQ office bearers, Circle/Branch Secretaries are requested to ensure successful implementation of the above agitation programs by conducting Executive Body/General Body meetings, Press Conferences, Posters etc.

As per our letter and further discussion with the EPF cell Regarding linking of UAN with new EPF A/C Number, ERPcell has given necessary instruction to DDOs of all SSAs and EPF A/C holders for submission of

1.  Declaration form with correction of data if any.

2. Submission of on line form- 13, if any previous a/c is not transfered to present a/c. (verify by downloading of passbook).

The Big Quiz- TBQ, Question Hour 2015 held on 25^th November, 2015 at Indoor Stadium Sports Council Hall, Calicut, conducted by AIGETOA, Calicut was a grant success. More than 150 students, who represented 60 plus Schools across Wayanad and Calicut Districts, participated in the function, it indeed was a ‘crowd puller’, we had to arrange additional seats to make sure that everyone was comfortably seated.

The Program started by 10.30AM with Preliminary Rounds. The Quiz Master was our own member, who takes up Quiz events in a big way; Shri Biju N, SDE STP. On culmination of this, before announcing the results, the Official Inauguration function was conducted at 11.00AM. Smt Lovely Joseph welcomed the dignitaries. Circle Secretary Shri Ramachandran presided over the function. Respected, GMT, Calicut Shri N.K. Sukumaran ITS declared open the program. Sri Sebastian, CWC Member & Sri Haridasan, District Secretary AIBSNLEA, felicitated the function. Sri Sumesh, Circle Finance Secretary, Sri Gireesh, District Secretary were also present at the dais.

Meanwhile, Smt Lovely Joseph gave a wonderful presentation about BSNL products with various videos and Detailed Presentation. Smt Lida N presented the dignitaries with mementoes.

Six teams, who topped the preliminary rounds got qualified to the final rounds, who were named BSNL-CDMA, BSNL-Wifi, BSNL-FTTH, BSNL-Broadband, BSNL-Mobile, BSNL-3G respectively. 

By around, 1.45pm, the Quiz Competition came to an end. Hon’ble District Judge, Sri V. Bhaskaran was kind enough to come and give away the prizes for the winners. Sri Sumesh, presented the vote of thanks, appreciated efforts of Various people behind the event. Our prize sponsors M/s Compuland, M/s 3G World, M/s Tycoon were specially mentioned. 

We need to appreciate the members who had gathered at the function, and did everything they could do to make the function a memorable one. It goes to show that, once we are united, we can pull off anything, with any  limited scope of time.

Cash awards of Rs 5000/-,3000/-,2000/- were presented to  the winners . All the finalists were presented with Certificates.
