PENSIONARY BENEFITS TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES (DIRECTLY RECRUITED OR ABSORBED)

Amendment in CCS pension rule-1972 is done and Rule-37A is inserted just to extend the pensionary benefits to all the employees (directly recruited or absorbed) of BSNL. The difference is only that absorbed employees will be paid government pension and BSNL will make contribution for the same and direct recruits will be paid industrial pension under the pension scheme and contribution devised by BSNL. 2nd pay revision has only ensure that total contribution towards superannuation benefits must be 30% of the Basic Pay + IDA. GS writes to Executive Director (Finance) with detail justification in respect of 30% superannuation benefits. Please click here for letter

All members are requested to please download the copy of letter written by GS and Rule-37A and go through it carefully. All the representatives of Circle and District are requested to please make it revolution and ensure that every direct recruit must understand the same. There is no reason to not extend the pensionary benefits to all the direct recruits’ employees of BSNL since it’s inception under industrial pension scheme. This is the only matter of time and understanding/unity of direct recruits. Association is shortly planning to have meeting of CHQ and Circle representatives where plan of action will be decided for all other issues too.

Joint Action Counsel consisting of BSNL Unions and Associations, Kerala Circle met at Trivandrum on 22nd Dec 2014 and discussed on the following shortcoming of BSNL kerala circle.
1) acute shortage of sim cards and top up coupons
2) non availability of cables and drop wires etc.
3) Inaction from the BSNL Management on these critial issues etc...
JAC unanimously decided to go for organizational activities against the indifferent attitude of Circle Management.
Lunch hour demonstration will be conducted at CGMT, GM Offices on 1st Jan 2015.

LDCE EXAM COACHING CLASS IN KANNUR SSA

The LDCE exam coaching classes have started today in Kannur SSA. SSA Secretary Sri.Muhammedali addressed the LDCE Candiatates, in the morning session Sri.Abdul basith SDE (BB&IT) took class on IT and in the afternoon session classes were conducted on the topic CDA rules by Sri.Hashir JTO(G) Payyanur.
