The token protest of lunch hour demonstration by AIGETOA Kerala as a precursor to the organizational protest actions planned against the lethargic attitude of management, was conducted across Kerala circle on 17-12-2020. All the Eleven BAs and Circle Office witnessed huge protest from Executives across Kerala, against the Rules Violations and Discriminatory attitude of BSNL Management.
The Recognized Association once again gave their clear message to Management that, we Will not be a mute spectator to the partisan approach and urged for corrective measures at the earliest.
Together We Can
Together We Have
Together We Will
The request transfer the orders in the cader of JAO/AO are issued.
We had requested to consider the request transfers vide our agenda meeting dated 28/9/20.
It is highly regrettable that BSNL Circle management have failed to resolve the issues which was self created by overriding of BSNL guidelines and to make corrective actions on various instances of biased approach. This association had consistently urged circle management for resolution of such matters, but unfortunately it is seen that despite the assurances in various meetings, the inordinate delay is continuing. This association is constrained to go for organizational protest actions against the negligence from circle management towards the settlement of,
Dishonoring of BSNL guidelines on administrative Posts

But at the same time it is seen that the same is being used to make again partisan approach without transparency especially in the cadre of AGM/ DE LA arrangements. There are concerns raised from Kannur , Kozhikkode BAs in particular and we have represented the matter with Circle administration.

The need for a Group Medical Health Insurance for BSNL Employees is a serious concern which was raised by this association when financial crisis started effecting the medical reimbursement of employees badly and is pending for time long. There is also an imminent need to create a separate PRMB trust and fund manager for post retirement medical expenses pertaining to BSNL recruited employees as they will not be having the CGHS option for the medical reimbursement after retirement. For the working employees of BSNL suggested that if BSNL is not able to disburse medical claims on regular basis, it should engage, some external responsible government owned insurance company providing Group Mediclaim Facilities. This scheme if implemented will result in huge savings in terms of reduced predictable and budgeted expenditure on Medical Coverage & other resources expenditure for BSNL. The morale of the employees will boost up and there by contributing to increased productivity.
As far as the scheme for group insurance in force for employees of BSNL is a Group Term Insurance (GTI) and that too offered by LIC which is not a Group Health Insurance. Thus it is felt that management is either confused or misguided on any such scheme in force initiated from BSNL side. We out rightly rejected about continuance of some privately placed insurance scheme which is already under scanner and details are yet to be known. It may also be noted that neither the insurance policy document or details available in public domain nor the tax benefits/ receipts are given to beneficiaries of such scheme which itself cast doubts about its transparency.
Being the recognised representative executive association in BSNL, AIGETOA Kerala conveyed its open support to a Group Medical Health Insurance scheme under the banner of the employer ie BSNL through negotiation with Major Government owned insurance companies. Our association hope to have deliberations as deemed fit and is ready to provide the road map in this regard for the benefit of employees and shared some matters that need to be considered.
