AIGETOA Kerala placed its strong resentment against the unilateral overhaul of procedures without taking into account of field realities where by the online attendance absentee is matched with ERP leave and subsequent direction of salary deduction. Aim of implementation of any system should be in overall benefit of BSNL and its employees. The order itself is contradicting in nature where the liability for entry of leave is differed from the leave availed employee. The non-uniformity in working days and the disparity of working atmosphere of employees who works in administrative office versus those in field, rotation of post transfers also needed to be addressed properly before any such decisions otherwise the employees will be demoralized further. There no mentioning of corporate office approval/guidelines for enacting such system of salary deduction. Denial of salary through any order without corporate office direction that too when the employee is being forced to wait for weeks together to get even his or her regular salary is not acceptable for this association.
The situation at Malappuram BA due to entrustment of DGM Ad-hoc as BA head who hold Circle President post of one executive association was represented to Circle management from October -2020 itself. As an interim measure management had revoked the administrative powers vested with BA head from that particular executive on 26/12/2020. Now as per BSNL corporate office guidelines dated 8/1/2021 it has been clarified that the OBs shall not be posted as the BA Head. It is learnt that a request for exemption is made to BSNL for continuance of the entrustment which is against the merit of extant guidelines. AIGETOA Kerala submitted for corrective measures in this regard.
