AIGETOA has once again sought our respected CGMT's intervention to reach the highest authorities in state government for prioritising the vaccination for BSNL employees in Kerala. Even though efforts were there from the BA administration, the same has not fetched the desired results till now.
Since it was learned that vaccine doses are allotted to Kerala State and Government is planning for further procurement, we had requested our CGMT's urgent intervention. In continuation with the same, our CGMT has reached to Chief Secretary & Health Secretary, Kerala State. We are hopeful that BSNL submission will be considered accordingly and the association also will reach higher authorities in government for early consideration.

AIGETOA Kerala submitted a request to CGMT Kerala, for considering the pending requests of executives working in Lakshadweep islands to mainland who have cleared more than 2 years of service through volunteering or long stay.
In addition, we have expressed the haste move of calling volunteers to CO MS units at Ernakulam on various specific grounds.
A Submission is made by AIGETOA Kerala in Connection with ensuring urgent precautionary measures across circle due to severe second wave hit of Covid pandemic. We requested that guidelines like Work from home/ roster duty etc may be made applicable to all employees without restricting to some particular office along with various suggestions.
We have also requested to reach Chief secretary/ State Health authorities for ensuring vaccination on priority basis to BSNL employees.
AIGETOA has given a call to the executives to apply for one day leave to seek the attention of the management on the long pending HR issues. We are happy to note that management has taken note of prevailing resentment amongst the executives. The huge support in the form of number of applied leaves around 8500 in number itself says a lot about the level of unrest, which is stepping into minds of all executives because of the lackadaisical approach of the management towards resolution of long pending HR issues, related to pay, pension and promotion.
AIGETOA thanks all the executives for their huge support on the call of association to observe 22nd April as protest day.
This association received appeal and request from BSNL management to withdraw the notice for protest day on 22.04.2021 considering present Covid-19 pandemic situation across the country firm assurance for the settlement of long pending HR issues and also agenda meeting is proposed to be held on 10.05.2021.

The grim situation about the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic across the country & sad demise of many of our BSNL colleagues and two appeals issued by the management was discussed amongst all CHQ OBs and Circle Secretaries. It was concluded that the program for applying leave and showing the resentment to management is hugely successful and the purpose of seeking the attention of management towards the settlement of the long pending HR issues is successful. In the current pandemic, many of our colleagues are adversely affected and struggling hard to cope up with current scenario and working of almost all the offices are hugely affected by Covid-19 . After giving thought to all the aspects and also to the fact that basic intent of this call was to seek the attention of management which is successful, we have unanimously decided to halt the proposed Protest Day Call. We have conveyed to management that instead of assurances, now we need firm Resolution on board while sitting on the table for agenda meeting on 10th May 2021.
Friends, we expect firm and concrete solutions from BSNL Management and expect a positive outcome on the genuine demands raised on the day failing which we are ready for the next stage of organisational actions. Association will review the outcome of agenda meeting to be held on 10th May 2021 and will decide the next course of action accordingly. In case management fails to address the HR issue & to initiate firm action for time bound resolution of the issues, AIGETOA will serve the notice for further organisational action program. The success of current call has given extra confidence to the leadership and we are very sure, with your firm and similar unqualified support, we will be able to achieve the long pending HR issues. The path containing mix of PURSUASION, Deliberation and Hard Actions shall continue till we are successful in achieving the objective. We once again thank one and all for making this mass leave program hugely successful.

We are entering to a new financial year with togetherness and hopes for growth.
BSNL and employees had tough times earlier due to many misfortunes.
It's a matter of rejoice that there is some positive news on Hybrid 4G tender.

Let us hope that all misfortunes go away for BSNL and it's employees.
BSNL KERALA Circle have issued the inter BA tranfer order's based on long Stay and Request.
There was a scheduled meeting with AIGETOA and CGMT ,BSNL Kerala Sri. C V Vinod ITS today on various matters. In the case of Long stay transfers we have once again submitted about various transfers earlier done and its connected implication on the present proposal. We have requested CGMT to consider the genuine and justified requests from executives so that the hardships can be avoided. We requested for considerations as envisaged in the policy of long stay transfer and it was assured that maximum possible efforts will be made for reducing the difficulties. Further we submitted that the transfers/retentions need to be effected in a transparent manner. We have also requested to consider various pending request transfers to BAs.We also made to notice with CGMT that the Six months criteria of outside BA request transfer forwarding as assured to us need to incorporated in Online portal (presently 2 years ) also and Circle office need to be shown for options separately.
The need of some re arrangements in circle office vertical was discussed and we clearly appraised CGMT that any new changes need to be done only after ground level study and its possible effect on a successful set-up. It was pathetic to note that a particular section is still trying to make leverage on their vested interests by quoting need of high range transfers. CGMT assured us that there won't be any sudden decision and recognized association will be consulted before chalking out any such proposal
In addition to the above, we pointed out some pre-planned changes which occurred during AGM LA allotment earlier even bypassing a BAs requirement and BSNL recruited executives chances were curtailed. The need of seeking clarification on immunity grounds also requested.
We have also requested our respected CGMT's intervention on speedy processing of 40+ Rule-9 requests with corporate office as assured to this association much earlier.
CGMT assured us that the matter will be taken with Director HR, Corporate Office.
The meeting was convened in a very positive manner and we hope that the assurance will be enacted in true manner. Later the team met GM HR/Admin also. From Association side Circle Secretary Sri.Saheer , Assistant Circle Secretary Sri Prasadraj, Sri.Ansal and Vice President Sri Vipal Prem were present.
Our Circle team had a detailed meeting with GM(HR/Admin) on 27/02/2021 about the proposed Long stay transfer in Kerala Circle. We observed some changes from the norms and guidelines in the proposal and we have suggested corrective measures. We also requested to share the details in a transparent manner and implement the long stay transfer only to the minimum extent.
Next Circle Executive Committee meeting of AIGETOA Kerala is scheduled to be conducted on 11-02-2021. Various agenda points like Single point follow-up on payloss issues, legal cases, long stay transfers will be discussed in detail. All the circle Executive Committee members are requested to attend the same without fail. Online link will be shared to CEC members.
